SR. APPLICATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST

Senior Application Support Analyst duties include:
Assist ARL DSRC users in batch script conversion and development and application code conversion and optimization, including parallel codes using MPI and OpenMP.
Develop in-house scripts and codes in support of local and enterprise requirements.
Build and/or install Third-Party Scientific/Engineering Application Packages.
Participate on local and enterprise-wide technical support teams.
Generate technical documentation regarding system and software usage.
Manage user problem tickets through an automated ticket management system.
Knowledge of Clustered computing environments
In depth knowledge of parallel programming techniques
In depth knowledge of program development methodologies
Knowledge of Linux Command Line Environment
Experience with Shell scripting
Knowledge/experience with PBS Pro batch queuing system
Knowledge of FORTRAN, C and C++

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Perl or Python
Knowledge of usage of engineering COTS packages

Active DoD SECRET clearance and the ability to maintain such is required.
